17th Annual Menomonee Falls Civil War Encampment

Enjoy one free ice cream donated by Schoep’s Ice Cream.

Food is offered by the Holy Smokers, Sutler Way vendors, old-fashioned children’s games, Kettle Corn, hands-on pioneer activities in the Barn, Train Depot Gift Shop, Art Show, Bake Sale and Silent Auction (ending at 1pm Sunday).

General Grant will be visiting Old Falls Village portraying Civil War history. Stop by his camp and meet the General before and after the battle.
 
New this year the Surgeons from the 17th Corps Field Hospital will explain the medical procedures that were done during the Civil War throughout the weekend and after the battles.
 
Speakers include Jessica Michna presented as Laura Ingalls Wilder, Saturday and also presenting Sunday as Mary Lincoln in the “Intimate Conspiracy”.
 
View historical displays, hear speakers and listen to The Regimental Volunteer Band of Wisconsin.  
 
Also new this year. there will be two Civil War reenactment skits occurring each day, including a Train Depot Robbery and watch what happens to General Grant after his presentation on Sunday.  There will be a Battle reenactment at 2:00 pm both days.

Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, July 6, 2016 - The 17th Annual Menomonee Falls Civil War Encampment will take place Saturday, July 16th, 10am-5pm and Sunday, July 17th, 10am-4pm, located at Old Falls Village, (www.OldFallsVillage.com), SW corner of Pilgrim Road and County Line Rd Q, Menomonee Falls, WI.

Admission:  Adults $6, Children 12 and under $2, Under 5 free. Free admission to Military Veterans from 10:00am - Noon with Military ID.

The event benefits the Menomonee Falls Historical Society. Free Parking.  More parking along Pilgrim Rd and to the West of Old Falls Village.
