Friends of the Germantown Community Library 2017 Purchase Award Art Contest

The Friends of the Germantown Community Library hold an annual Purchase Art Contest for the purpose of encouraging and spotlighting the fine arts in Germantown, while acquiring an original piece of art created by a  Washington county non-professional artist. Last year 20 artists from Washington county submitted 45 pieces of art for judging.

Enter to win $300-1st place, $75-2nd place, and $50-3rd place!  Winning artwork goes on permanent display at the library.
 
Must be a non-professional Washington County artist 18 years or older earning less than 50% income from art. Submit original, two-dimensional artwork in any medium. Look for entry brochures at all Washington County libraries or on our website: www.germantownlibraryfriends.org

• Awards Presentation with Guest Speaker Bryan Dyer from You Are the Hero: Wednesday, October 11 @ 7:00 p.m.
