Kettle Moraine Symphony Veterans Concert

Veterans receive free admission to "America! A Concert Dedicated to Veterans" at West Bend High School's Silver Lining Arts Center at 3:00pm on November 3. Come early for a pre-concert talk by UWM-Washington County music professor, Dr. Peter Gibeau at 2:00.

A concert of orchestral music written about America, by Americans (and a Czech) which KMS has dedicated to our veterans of the armed forces. Veterans will be admitted free, as our way of saying thank you for their service to our country.

The program includes Lowden's "Armed Forces Salute," Gershwin's jazzy "An American in Paris", and Antonin Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 "From the New World," which was written while the Czech composer was on an extended visit to the U.S.A. less than 20 years after the Civil War.

BRING YOUR OLD CELL PHONES TO THE CONCERT
