Pioneer Kids Day "Railroads"

Description

Find out what it takes to run a railroad! Join us to learn what it takes to make different types of trains get their jobs done. Enjoy ice cream and train stories, and make your own engineer or conductor hat. Take a trip on the rails with the Kettle Moraine Ballast Scorchers’ model train set up. Meet a train crew member from the 1003 engine stationed in Hartford. Pioneer Kids Days promises to be an adventure on the rails. Age: Open to children entering 1st-5th grades in fall. Fee: $6/child before Aug 1. $7/child Aug 1 & after. Free for children of WCHS members at Family level or higher REGISTRATION and PAYMENT REQUIRED by Aug 9, 2018. Each child must be registered by a parent or guardian. Please, no unregistered children or adults. Children may be dropped off NO EARLIER than 8:30am and must be PICKED UP promptly at Noon.
