Celebrate Halloween by exploring paranormal Port Washington's rich haunted history. This charming New England style village on the shores of Lake Michigan is only a 30-minute drive north of Milwaukee, WI. This popular annual ghost walk is in 2-parts. It includes a tour of historic downtown haunts and a candlelight exploration of Port Washington's spooky necropolis. When: Friday, October 30, 2015 and Saturday, October 31, 2015 (Halloween night!) Times: 7:00, 7:30, and 8:00 each night. Tickets: $15 per person. Purchase tickets at www.capercompany.com Length: 2 hours. You get a lot of ghosts for your money! Ages: Recommended age 13 and over. Under age 13 may be allowed with a responsible adult and at the discretion of the tour leader. This tour is not recommended for people with baby strollers. Max Tour Size: We try to keep it to no more than 25 people per tour. This is a popular ghost walk, so get your tickets early. Walk-in's: At the discretion of the tour leader. Arrive 15 minutes before the tour time. It's VERY IMPORTANT that you park in the city parking lot by Dockside Deli. After the downtown ghost walk, we carpool to the cemetery and if your car isn't there, you won't be able to go. For Your Comfort and Enjoyment: Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress in layers for warmth. There is a lot of walking, some along uneven ground. It is not recommended for people with baby strollers. This ghost walk does include some stairs. There is a public restroom near the tour start location. You may want to bring a flashlight for the cemetery portion of the tour. Weather: The ghost walk will go on in light rain. Port Washington is about 30 minutes northeast of Germantown.
