Storytime & Author Visit with Dionne Kelm

Join us for a special storytime with local children’s book author Dionne Kelm, author of the Grandma Hearts series. Grandparent’s welcome!! Autographed copies of books will be available for purchase and 20% of all sales will go towards the MOMS Club Germantown – West Children’s Area Project at the library.

The MOMS Club of Germantown West is currently in the second year of a two-year project to improve the children's area of the Germantown Community Library. Inspired by surrounding area libraries, the MOMS Club decided to raise funds and initiate efforts to improve the children's area. The two-year plan includes ideas to add family friendly seating, interactive play and learning stations, as well as, STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art and Math) activities and improvements to the storytime room. Fundraising efforts have already begun and preliminary funds from the MOMS Club have added a bench, play kitchen, and train table to the children's area.
