Walk a Mile In Her Shoes - Washington County
1st Time Event!
The event goal is to raise awareness about what victims of sexual assault, domestic violence and human trafficking endure. This unique event increases mindfulness of the plight of victims by having men walk a mile while wearing high heels. This is an international event that often provides a great visual impact when the public sees men in high heels. The walk is open to all who want to participate, but the hallmark of the event is men walking in high heels.
Walk a Mile In Her Shoes - Washington County will be held at Dublin's in West Bend. The walk will begin and end at Dublin's making a mile loop around the neighborhood. Men's heels are available on a first-come, first serve basis the day of the event. Men have the opportunity to purchase flip-flops for an extra donation rather than walk the entire mile in heels. Women are encouraged to wear their own comfortable shoes.
