Description

Join new Executive Director Steve Stuckey as he explores the architectural history and building technology of the Old Courthouse and Old Jailhouse Museum. You and Steve will climb over 100 stairs to capture the amazing view from the tower of the Old Courthouse; touch the iron bars of the Old Jailhouse Museum, and peer through remarkable original color glass windows! Steve is the former Architectural Conservator at George Washington’s Mount Vernon home in Virginia. He has published articles about building technologies, dirtied his hands on fixing old building parts, and has an outgoing passion for old and historic buildings. Come join him for this special opportunity by registering today! **Please note that because social distancing will not be possible on all parts of the tour, masks are required during this event. If you do not have a mask, they will be available at the start of the tour. Masks are $0.50 for non-members and free for members.
