I started at the Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce in October 2000 as a part time administrative assistant (after having the privilege of being a stay-at-home mom for 8 years). I held that position until November 1, 2005, when I became the Executive Director. As of July 1, 2023, I have retired as Executive Director and will continue working part time as an administrative assistant; coming full circle.

My prior work experience was in banking. I started with Heritage Bank in West Bend in 1976. M&I Bank bought Heritage Bank in the mid-1980's and I continued working as a Consumer Loan Officer until 1992.

I am and have been a Germantown resident since 1993 moving from West Bend where I was born and raised.

Started at the Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce in June of 2019 as an Executive Assistant.
Became Executive Director of the Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce in July of 2023.

Thomas J. Lane (TJ) is an Associate Financial Advisor with the Sommersberger Group at Baird Wealth Management. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, he has extensive experience developing tax-efficient retirement income plans, optimizing investment allocations to align with risk tolerance, and designing long-term asset protection strategies. He monitors legislative and tax law changes that may affect our client base. Thomas graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ithaca College with a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance concentration. He currently resides in Germantown with his wife, Kristina, and children, Jake and Cassidy. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, tennis and golf.

I began my dessert/catering business 20 years ago and have had my business in Chicago, Hawaii and Wisconsin.
