UPS store Germantown is looking for motivated and reliable associates for a position. Must be able to work afternoons, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and sales transactions
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks using UPS systems
- Offer solutions for packing, mailing, printing, and other business services
- Ring up sales and manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions
- Promote store services like mailbox rentals, notary services, or printing solutions
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials
- Determine best shipping options for customers
- Label and prepare outgoing shipments
- Operate office equipment (copiers, fax machines, computers)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store
- Stock supplies and maintain inventory
