Transportation Solution Symposium Drives Washington County Workforce in the Right Direction

Germantown, WI: A Transportation Solutions Symposium was held at the American Legion Post 1 on May 13, 2025. The event was hosted by the Waukesha Ozaukee Washington Workforce Development as well as the Germantown Chamber of Commerce to help companies recognize and create potential transportation-centered solutions for their workforce.

Professionals from a plethora of transportation companies and initiatives gave spirited addresses regarding efficient and sustainable commuting practices. Topics included rideshare services, transportation hubs, and discussions regarding local transportation needs and barriers.

“Recognizing the transportation barriers that employees and employers can face is the first step in figuring out solutions and we are happy to bring these topics to the table for conversation and growth.  At the Chamber, we are committed to helping our businesses find and support their workforce utilizing connectivity and collaboration among our members and the community” said Joletta Kerpan, the Executive Director at the Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce.
